Red Lion II
First written records of this house date back to 1463, the period of the King George of Podebrady reign. At this time it was just a single-storey house and its owners changed. Afterwards it was rebuilt in an even more attractive way and various Prague burgers and wealthy trasdesmen became its owners. Some parts of the cellar walls have been preserved from the Rennaisance period. The ground floor and the staircase up to the first floor with early Baroque vaults date back to the half of the 17th century. The third floor and the attic were competed in the 18th century but the most important fact is the late classicist reconstruction of the courtyard galleries. The picture on the front facade is considered a valuable architectural detail. An essential reconstruction of the house went on in 1907, the latest one in 2001. Hotel is located very close to the Prague Castle, just a few meters from the hotel Red Lion House I. and offers comfortable accommodation with a high level service. » PRICELIST «
